Most folks don’t know that cholesterol is actually made in the liver, intestines, and other organs and then used to make new cells throughout the body in addition to other functions. Scientific research tells us the more cholesterol we take in the form of our diet, the less cholesterol is made by the body. Conversley, the less cholesterol we eat in our diet, the more cholesterol the body will produce.

For all of you unfortunate souls who are eating a low-cholesterol diet prescribed by your dotor, or for those who are on cholesterol lowering drugs, this next statement might come as a surprise.

“No study anywhere has ever proven that lowering the amount of cholesterol in the diet reduces the risk of heart disease. And lowering blood cholesterol through drugs won’t prevent arteries from hardening if homocysteine in high.” Dr Kilmer McCully “The Heart Revolution”

B 6, B 12, and Folic Acid…ProArgi9 Plus. Then feel healing effects of Nitric Oxide!!!!

Here’s a rather interesting cholesterol fact. The Framingham Study, which is about a half century old was a medical study that studied participants & followed them from youth to old age. That study has consistently failed to make a correlation between the intake of dietary cholesterol & blood cholesterol levels. The study tried desperately to show that eating a high fat diet increased blood cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels. However, the study failed miserably to ever show a relationship. A number of preventive studies in the 60′s, 70′s, and 80′s evaluated the effect of cholesterol-lowering drugs, hormones, and vitamins on heart disease risk. The studies uniformly failed to show a decrease risk of heart disease. Dr Klimer McCully’s book, “The Heart Revolution.”

For all intents & purposes, all “statin” drugs do is produce some moderate decreases in the risk of heart disease in “high-risk groups.” Scientists are reluctant to admit the cholesterol theory is wrong when so much time and money has been spent trying to prove cholesterol is bad for us! Any wonder when there are literally billions to be made from the sale of these drugs?

There’s a natural product that heals the arterial wall and lowers the homocysteine levels. ProArgi9 Plus! Is it time to finally heal the problem, rather than just perpetually mask it?

The choice is yours, choose wisely!

So I need to have tangible evidence that we are doing something good for our patients. So we measured multiple data points. These are the data points that are important to us…

Bad cholesterol. We did not find any significant decrease in bad cholesterol with supplement of ProArgi9 (Plus).

Remember all these patients were maximally medically managed… that means they were already on cholesterol medication, they were already on blood pressure medication, they were taking aspirin and Plavix; whatever they needed to have to keep their heart and circulatory system going.

But HDL CHOLESTEROL high density lipo-protein, is the good cholesterol. That cholesterol reverses coronary artery disease. The higher the level – decreases stroke, peripheral vascular disease. It is an anti-oxidant, it’s like a free radical scavenger. It transports cholesterol out of the arteries, into the liver where it is metabolized and therefore it gets rid of bad cholesterol. THAT LEVEL WENT UP BY 18%.

TRIGLYCERIDES… it’s a bad cholesterol, its a form of cholesterol, its fat. Also DECREASED BY 40% when taking ProArgi9 Plus.

These are other parameters we looked at: a lot of our patients are diabetic, GLUCOSE WENT DOWN BY 8%

C-REACTIVE PROTEIN is a measure of inflammation, its a measure of how much inflammation you have in your system, IT WENT DOWN BY 25%

CREATININE is a measure of kidney function, the higher the creatinine the worse your kidney function is, and therefore in patients with Diabetes, Hypertension, who already have some stigma of renal insufficiency IT WENT DOWN BY 11%

MAGNESIUM is extremely important for cardiovascular function, it is important for neuroma function. IT’S LEVELS WENT UP 35%.

*but that should go up because it is part of the supplement of ProArgi9 (Plus) — (*Note – this is inaccurate on Dr. Siva’s part, there is NO magnesium in the formula, we are getting clarification on this from Dr. Siva)

The PLATELET FUNCTION WENT DOWN, we could not measure it. We will measure it in our next study.

However, ALBUMIN, the amount of protein that is spilled in the urine is indirectly proportional to renal function. The higher the albumin that your urine is secreting the worse off you are in terms of kidney function. So all our therapies are directed to reducing protein in the urine THAT WENT DOWN BY 70%

VITAMIN D LEVEL, THAT WENT UP 183%. It has to. When the level does not go up and the stuff has that ingredient, then it doesn’t work. It tells you that ProArgi9 Plus’s Vitamin D composition is being absorbed by the body and is available for our tissue.

Our SYSTOLIC BLOOD PRESSURE, that is the first number in our blood pressure, WENT DOWN BY 13%
The bottom number in the blood pressure which is the DIASTOLIC PRESSURE WENT DOWN BY 17%

We looked at ANKLE BRACHIAL INDEX. There should be no difference between the blood pressure in the leg and in the arm. But in patients with Peripheral Artery Disease, that is patients who have atherosclerosis in the leg that ABI index is low. And that INDEX WENT UP (16%) in patients with Diabetes, patients with Peripheral Artery Disease because it increases blood flow into the circulation.

We also were able to measure the Central Aortic Systolic Pressure with a BPro machine that was given to us on loaner by Universal Health. CENTRAL PRESSURE WENT DOWN (6%) WHICH IS INCREDIBLE because Central Pressure is DIRECTLY RELATED TO STROKE, to the formation of abdominal aortic aneurysm, thoracic aneurysm, so lowering the Central Pressure is extremely important for us.

The choice is yours, choose wisely

Nitric Oxide in the Circulatory System: Nitric Oxide serves as a vasodilator
-Released in response to high blood flow rate and signaling molecules
-Highly localized and effects are brief
-If Nitric Oxide sythesis is inhibited blood pressure skyrockets

Nitric oxide, as I said, is a vasodilator. It delivers more blood to a tissue. When more blodd is delivered to a tissue, more oxygen, then more byproducts , bad byproducts are also eliminated adequately.

So that the toxic effects of breakdown products do not build up in the tissues, that can cause you to have detrimental effects.

Nitric Oxide in the Circulatory System: Nitric Oxide aids in the gas exchange between hemoglobin and cells.
-Hemoglobin is a vasoconstrictor. Fe scavenges Nitric Oxide
-Nitric Oxide is proteced by cysteine group when O2 binds to hemoglobin
-During O2 delivery Nitric Oxide locally dilates blood vessels to aid in gas exchange
-Excess Nitric Oxide is picked up by HGB with the CO2

It is a so called free radical scavenger. Free radicals are oxydative chemicals that are generated by every tissue in our body, that actually damages our tissue.

Nitric Oxide plays like a scavenger – it is a sponge that just absorbs these bad radicals from circulating around, before they cause damage – and eliminates them.

-Nitric Oxide is a potent inhibitor of viral replication Nitric Oxide and the Immune system: NOS II catalyzes synthesis of Nitric Oxide used in host defense reactions
-Activation of NOS II is independent of CO2 in the cell.
-Synthesis of Nitric Oxide happens in most nucleated cells, particularly macrophages
-Nitric Oxide is a potent inhibitor of viral replication

Nitric Oxide is a bacteriacidal agent
-Nitric Oxide is created from the nitrates extracted from food near the gums
-This kills bacteria in the mouth that may be harmful

Nitric oxide is obviously important in the Immune System. Because it scavenges free radicals; the bad elements that destroy normal tissue. By scavenging the free radicals it also helps the Immune System from being damaged by free radicals.
It helps in the fight against infection, maybe viruses, maybe bacteria.
So it is extremely important in the normal functioning of the Immune System.

Nitric oxide is extremely important in the Digestive System as well. Similarly bringing nutrients into the stomach, into the intestine, how our food is processed, how blood supply is delivered to our stomach.

It decreases spasms, decreases symptoms of abdominal constriction, abdominal spasms, and therefore it is extremely important in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Patients who have IBS, early data now suggests, they have decreasing amounts of nitric oxide.

‎In the Nervous System it is very important how nerves talk to one another. This communication between one nerve to another is how Memories develop.

If you are able to deliver more blood supply and more nutrients to the Nervous System then your Nervous System develops adequately. If you are not able to deliver more nutrition, more oxygen, to the Nervous System then appropriate circuits that need to develop do not develop.

People have difficulty with memory when they do not have adequate blood supply, adequate oxygen, adequate nutrition, adequate glucose delivered to the system.

Nitric oxide is not a direct neurotransmitter, but it aids in this circuit formation. It is Extremely Important in the development of proper circuitry in the Nervous System.

Nitric Oxide, as I said, is ubiquitous, that means every cell has it.
Vasodilation:

It is for direct vasodilation. Vasodilation means it enlarges your arteries. So if you have a 3 millimeter artery and you were to give a nitric oxide infusion into the artery, you can make it info a 4 millimeter artery. Therefore it makes more blood flow into the tissue than the artery was supplying.

Anti-Thrombotic:
It is also anti-thrombotic, which means if you have a tendency to form clots by taking l-arginine or ProArgi9 Plus you can convert it into nitric oxide and nitric oxide prevents platelets from aggregating. It prevents clots from forming.

Anti-Inflammatory
Is is also anti-inflammatory. When I started out in Medical School as we talked about the inflammation of arteries, people used to laugh at us…’What are you talking about? Inflammation? Come on! That’s nothing to do with coronary artery disease.

Now ALL RESEARCH is based on the anti-inflammatory factor for medication, how we can prevent inflammation because that is the injury that occurs when you have too much cholesterol, too much smoking, diabetes or obesity. All that increases the inflammatory potential of the body.

That means if we were to measure the inflammatory markers they would be elevated in the person who smokes, the person who has got diabetes; and therefore there are therapies directed towards decreasing the inflammation in our bodies.

If you take a look at a person who is 100 years old you will notice that their inflammatory marker is extremely down. So that tell you that longevity is directly related to the amount of inflammation you have in your body.

Anti-Proliferate
Nitric oxide is also anti-proliferate. Part of the injury that occurs in the artery is the result of injury to the arterial wall caused by hypertension, smoking, diabetes results in proliferation, growth, division of cells; called the smooth muscles, within the arterial wall.

That proliferation, that division, that growth contributes to athlerosclerosis. Nitric oxide directly prevents the proliferate effect that is caused by cholesterol, hypertension and smoking.
So therefore, all these benefits are derived from nitric oxide.

‎…when this patient shows up, the patient is dead. What you do as cardiologists is to prevent this from happening.

What we are trying to attain is preventing an acute MI from taking place. An acute MI is when cholesterol plaque that is built up in the coronary artery ruptures, occluding the artery, causing a heart attack. We want to prevent that from happening.

And whatever it takes – in terms of aspirin therapy, in terms of Plavix, in terms of beta-blockers, in terms of cholesterol lowering…this is what we have done. We do that to prevent this from happening.

Acute MI occurs when a plaque in the artery grows as time goes on. It may take anywhere from 10 to 50 years for the plaque to grow. The plaque growth is secondary to multiple factors in terms of your diet, in terms of your genetics – important in terms of the physiology of the artery itself; and why certain people are more prone to having MI, having coronary artery disease, why they have strokes, but also vascular disease with the inability to walk because of occlusion of those arteries.

Anywhere blood flows those arteries can occlude and cause specific symptoms… maybe chest pain and angina, maybe claudication when you walk because of blockages to the legs, or stroke, or TIA because of lack of circulation to the brain.

So as cardiologists, as physicians, we want to prevent this from happening… What can we do to help?

We always institute standard therapy. Standard therapy includes aspirin because it attracts platelets that cause thrombus to form. We want to start patients on cholesterol medicines because we are reducing cholesterol. Less cholesterol builds up in the arterial wall and therefore less chance of it blocking.

Despite all these attempts…disease still progresses. We are always looking for new ways to modulate, to kind of attenuate the progression of disease. All of us die. All of us will die. It is the quality in which we live, that is what we are trying to attain. And ProArgi9 Plus, l-arginine and NO helps us in fighting that process that is ongoing in Every One of Us.

For those trapped in the downward spiral of severe heart disease, cancer, etc., a whole body approach is often required to restore optimal health. For some, that may mean treating your body right for the first time in years, treating your body like you actually cared.

This mindset is grounded in the Vital 3 Super Foods, ProArgi9 Plus to open & restore healthy blood flow, Core Greens to build upon that strong blood & properly alkalize the body & restore a healthy Ph balance, & Mistica to reduce inflammation & support the immune system.

As we say at Synergy Worldwide, Build, Boost, & Circulate yourself back to optimal health.

Correct thinking starts with taking responsibility for your OWN health. For the better part, doctors don’t cure. Given the right tools, the right ingredients, our bodies cure themselves. Simply put, we just need to provide our bodies with the right raw materials, & the V3 system is a good start. In conjunction w/ proper foods, exercise, clean air, good hydration, sunshine, & a good attitude……you will find the sickness & disease will have no residence in your body.

The choice is yours, choose wisely.

“A man is as old as his arteries.”

–Thomas Sydenham, English physician, 1624-1689

This comment, made nearly four centuries ago, raises a provocative modern-day question: Do you know how old your arteries are?

It is a question gaining increasing attention as researchers look for more effective ways to communicate risk of cardiovascular disease to patients and to motivate them to make changes in their lives that can help prevent heart attacks, strokes and other serious heart-related problems later in life.

Several tools are available that enable doctors and patients to calculate vascular age. These suggest there can be a substantial difference between how old you are and how old your blood vessels are. For instance, the vascular age of a 35-year-old man who smokes and has diabetes, high blood pressure and abnormal cholesterol could be as high as 76 years old—more than double his chronological age, according to a recent study. The arteries of a 30-year-old woman with similar risk factors could be equivalent to those of an average woman who is more than 80 years old.

Such a calculation “gives a sense that your risk-factor burden is making you age faster than you think you are,” says Donald Lloyd-Jones, a preventive cardiologist at Northwestern University, Chicago, who co-authored the recent study, which appeared in the journal Circulation last August. “The more you can make it concrete, the better you can impart information about risk.”

The good news, doctors say, is that by taking steps to reduce risk factors and the damage they inflict on arteries, it is possible to turn back the clock on vascular age.

With optimal cholesterol and blood pressure and no diabetes, the vascular age of a 74-year-old non-smoking man could be as low as 60, according to the report by Dr. Lloyd-Jones. A similarly healthy 74-year-old woman could have arteries as young as 53, or 21 years less than her chronological age.

The concept of vascular age underscores the crucial role blood vessels play in maintaining heart health. A single layer of cells called the endothelium lines the walls of every blood vessel in the body. Along with a layer of elastic tissue, the endothelium comprises what is called the intima.

Bryan Donohue, chief of cardiology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside, calls the intima “the governing intelligence” of vascular health. Knowledge it contains and communicates with the blood enables blood to course through the body without clotting, he says. It also helps to keep arteries flexible or compliant.

Over time, however, the effects of high blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and tobacco smoke provide a toxic milieu that injures the endothelium. That causes an inflammatory response intended to heal the artery wall, but that in the face of continuous injury only makes things worse.

The progressive result is an accumulation of fatty deposits called plaque that can rupture or have their caps shear off, causing clots that lead to heart attacks. In addition, artery walls can stiffen, transforming compliant arteries into conduits like “Styrofoam tubes,” Dr. Donohue says, that increase both blood pressure and the workload on the heart.

All of this explains in part why heart experts are concerned that the nation’s obesity epidemic and the surge in diabetes rates threaten to unravel decades of progress against heart disease. Both high body mass, particularly belly fat that accounts for a person’s bulging waist line, and diabetes have a pernicious effect on the health of adult blood vessels. In addition, recent research among children and adolescents at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and elsewhere has documented arterial stiffness and other heart-related structural abnormalities once thought to occur only in aging adults.

Even if your weight is under control, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking, sedentary living and stress all are culprits that can accelerate vascular age. Over time, the steady beating of your heart—70 times a minute, or more than 100,000 heartbeats a day—exacts wear and tear on your vessels as well.

Dr. Lloyd-Jones’s analysis of vascular age is based on an updated version of the Framingham Risk Score, a widely used instrument that uses a formula based on gender, age, cholesterol and blood pressure levels and smoking status to estimate a person’s 10-year risk of a heart attack or heart-related death. The new version, published in Circulation in 2008, added stroke, heart failure and disease in the leg arteries to broaden the scope of the tool, as well as a point system that linked a relative 10-year risk to vascular age.

“People may have a low 10-year risk, but their 40-year risk is going to be large,” says Ralph D’Agostino, a Framingham Heart Study investigator and mathematician at Boston University. Looking at vascular age can “let them know where they might be heading if they don’t start paying attention.”

Similar warnings can come from deriving vascular age from a CT scan that detects accumulation of calcium in the coronary arteries, or on an ultrasound test known as CIMT (for carotid intima media thickness) that measures the thickness of the inner lining of the carotid arteries in the neck.

Typically, results of these tests are expressed in percentiles and risk probabilities, which “human beings don’t understand at all,” says Dr. Lloyd-Jones. For instance, a Framingham score may indicate someone has a 7% chance, or low risk, of having a heart attack in the next 10 years. “If I say you are 45, but you have the risk of an otherwise healthy 67-year-old,’ that somehow gets in our brain better” than a percentage risk, he says.

Dr. Lloyd-Jones cautions that there isn’t evidence linking a calculation of artery age directly to what’s actually going on inside a patients’ vessels. But, he says, “We hope this is another way to get patients to pay attention to their lifestyle and adhere to medicines if they need them.”

Peter Tripoli is a case in point. A few weeks ago, the 50-year-old vice president of a software firm experienced shortness of breath and chest pain. Several tests didn’t find any evidence of obstruction, but he went to Dr. Donohue’s clinic in Washington, Pa., for a checkup with Linda Gordon, a nurse practitioner.

Mr. Tripoli, thick around the waist, acknowledged he had gained 40 pounds in the past three years. During the same time, his total cholesterol jumped to 249 from 192.

Mrs. Gordon took his blood pressure, which was 98/70, consistent with prior readings, he said, and well within healthy recommended levels of below 120/80. “If I don’t get this blubber off me, it won’t stay that way,” he said. He said he just needed a little motivation.

Mrs. Gordon punched Mr. Tripoli’s risk-factor numbers and other data into a software program she developed called Intimal Health. Based on evidence from clinical studies, it prints out recommendations customized to each patient as a guide to healthy habits that can help rejuvenate their arteries. She asked him to come back in six weeks for a progress report, when adding a cholesterol-lowering statin would be considered.

“Everything we do—diet, exercise, the medications—they are geared toward improving the environment that the artery lives in,” Mrs. Gordon told him.

Using the traditional Framingham Risk Score, Mr. Tripoli’s 10-year risk of a heart attack—bolstered by his favorable blood pressure reading—was a low 6%. While keeping vessels young is a focus of the clinic, Mrs. Gordon doesn’t usually calculate a patient’s vascular age. But in this case, she ran Mr. Tripoli’s age, cholesterol numbers and blood pressure through the updated Framingham Heart risk score.

The result: His arteries were equivalent to those of a 64-year-old man.

“That’s striking,” Mr. Tripoli said, indicating he was prepared to get it lower. “I’m one of those people who has a chance to avert a catastrophe.”

It’s really quite simple, & yet very bold. Our goal is to save a million lives across the globe. My business partner, Gordon Christensen & I, together with our mentor, Bart Woodcook, have assembled a team of highly qualified professionals with the quest of doing just that, saving & enhancing lives. Spend some time looking at the articles below & the powerful videos to the right. The information gained through this study could change your life forever.

It you’re already healthy, this product, ProArgi-9 Plus, may keep you healthy for the rest of your life. If you’re an athlete, you will undoubtedly see rather dramatic increases in your performance levels & equally dramatic decreases in your recovery time.

If you have health concerns, and science is finding that many health concerns trace back to poor blood circulation, this may very well be a life saver, literally. How long has it been since your blood pressure levels were normal without those caustic meds? How long have you worried about your cholesterol levels? For you diabetics, how long since you had normal blood sugar levels without sticking a syringe in your belly every day? Would you like to be free of those concerns, have your health & mind back again? This may be the answer you’ve been looking for.

It’s a “Miracle Molecule” as has been dubbed & touted by the medical science community for years now. It’s a Nobel prize winning discovery that has been researched by the likes of Columbia, Duke, Stanford, & most recently by the High Desert Heart Institute (see article below), & Dr. Rainer Boger of the University of Hamburg in Germany (see videos to the right), as well as many other leading research organizations. All total, over 200,000 citations regarding L-Arginine & Nitric Oxide & it’s undeniably dramatic effects on the body, whether you’re healthy, or not so much so.

There’s a wealth of information here in both written form as well as videos found to the right of the page. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! VISIT OUR WEBSITE, A Miracle Molecule (click here), and the ProArgi9 page on Facebook (click Here) for more information.

There are two components to our site here. First & foremost, saving & enhancing lives! The second for those of you so inclined, is the business prospect. Our blog addresses both aspects, realizing that there will be varying avenues of interest. Our primary concern however is your health & the health of those you love.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or issues you would like to talk about regarding your health & peak performance.

As with all things in life, the choice is yours as to where you go from here & what you do with the information. Those choices could provide remarkable results that will last a lifetime. Choose wisely!

ProArgi-9 Plus!

Located in Victorville, California, the High Desert Heart Institute has begun to attract national attention for it’s ground breaking heart disease study. If as expected, the data collected, continues to support the trends observed in the study, then the conclusions & convictions of Dr. J. Joseph Prendergast & Dr. Louis Ignarro (Nobel Prize winner in medicine for his discovery of l-Arginine), that heart disease can indeed be prevented & even reversed by a proper regimen of L-Arginine, will be further enhanced.

The following is an overview of this landmark, 90 day, human clinical study conducted at one of the most prestigious heart institutes in the United States. As new information becomes available, & the study is finally published, I will report it on this blog so as to be a central resource page for this important study.

General Overview

In early 2009, a 90 day human clinical study was conducted at the High Desert Heart Institute. The study included 35 congestive heart failure patients from the Congestive Heart Failure Unit at the institute. The study concluded in July 2009 with 33 patients. One of the patients dropped out because he received a new heart. The other patient dropped out because they were not able to remain compliant with the study’s protocols.

Each patient over the course of the 90 day study received rather extensive diagnostic testing which generated approximately 7000 points of data. The following is a partial list of tests used to generate the data:

Full Blood Panels (Including Fasting Lipid & Electrolytes)

Full Urine Panels

Echocardiography

Two Forms Pulse Wave Analysis

C-Reactive Protein Levels

Vitamin D3 Levels

Ankle Brachial Index Testing (Using Ultra Sound Doppler)

CT Heart Scan

The patients chosen for the study had all reached a virtual point of no return, a maximum of their pharmacological & medical management system in place. Each patient was given 4 scoops of ProArgi-9 per day for 90 days. Each scoop contains 5 grams of Pharmaceutical grade L-Arginine as well as several other ingredients that support Nitric Oxide production & heart health.

It may be a little bit before the study will be completely ready for publication in the medical journals. The wheels of the medical community can grind slowly when it comes to these kind of publications. However, Dr. Siva Arunasalam, who helped direct & supervise the study stated this:

“There was nothing else for us to try, we had tried everything with these patients. All patients showed a tremendous improvement in many, many objective data points that only can be attributed to ProArgi-9. . .”

Dr. Siva also made the following significant statement:

“. . . but what we ended up seeing was remarkable positive remodeling of the heart, positive pulmonary artery changes, pulmonary vascular changes in terms of pulmonary pressures, changes in the cardiac dimensions, changes in heart function. . .”

Due to the remarkable success of this study, the High Desert Heart Institute has formally implemented an L-Arginine protocol utilizing the ProArgi-9 Plus as part of their routine standard of care for all patients.

This is a question I get asked frequently by folks. How can it possibly be that one product could produce such miraculous results for so many life threatening medical issues & diseases? To answer those questions, one must first start with a common denominator for many of these ailments. And what would that common denominator be? The blood!

Optimal blood flow to every part of our body is essential to delivering life-sustaining nutrients and oxygen to every organ and tissue, while removing detrimental toxins and wastes. Maintaining good circulatory health is absolutely paramount in helping our body perform at its best & in allowing our body to do it’s thing in warding off disease.

This being said, there are a number of factors including age, lifestyle, diet and exposure to environmental toxins, that can cause our circulation system to become compromised resulting in a reduced ability for our circulatory system to ‘traffic’ or deliver nutrients and oxygen to all parts of the body, while at the same time eradicating the harmful toxins & waste.

Issues such as oxidative stress, plaque, poor ADMA to L-arginine ratios, can all contribute to a reduction in the ability of the blood to do it’s work. The core message is rather simple, when blood flow is diminished or compromised, nutrients and oxygen cannot be delivered to areas where they are needed, & toxins can’t be effectively removed from the body, preventing the maintenance of optimal health.

Allow me to use a rather crude example. Our cardiovascular system is like a series of semi trucks in our system. When we eat, drink fluids, & breathe, it’s like those trucks are being loaded with the essentials of life to be carried to their various destinations. Ideally, as those trucks pull into their various stations (vital organs, muscle tissue, etc.), they off-load their cargo (nutrients & oxygen), but before leaving the station, they load up the spent fuel (toxins) from the previous off-loaded trips to be taken out of the body via the lungs, kidneys, etc.

When this transport system is working to it’s fullest potential, our body reacts favorably & rewards us with optimal health. However, when those highways & by-ways get clogged up & constricted, the ability of that transport system to efficiently deliver the “goods” to their needed areas, & to efficiently carry the toxins out to their appointed destinations is diminished with potentially disastrous consequences. Not all the trucks can get into the station, & not all can leave efficiently thus leaving some of the toxins behind. The results? Polluted stations & highways. What does pollution cause? Decay!

Making sure this transport system is functioning to its fullest potential is critical to our body’s ability to maintain health. Medical science is starting to realize the incredible relationship of proper blood flow & disease. Without proper blood flow, the heart, muscles, kidneys, liver, etc., operate in a reduced capacity. Knowing this, one can better understand why we have heart disease, diabetes, stroke, kidney failure, cancer, etc. Much like the engine in a truck, when carbon deposits, sludge, etc. build up in the engine, it loses power & efficiency, until ultimately it quits working. Keep the injectors clean, oil changed, etc. & the engine will last a long time. It’s the same principle for our body.

That’s the miracle of L-Arginine in ProArgi9 Plus, dubbed “the miracle molecule” by the medical science community. L-Arginine is the precursor to nitric oxide. This discovery was so important that it won Dr. Ignarro & his two colleagues the Nobel Prize in medicine for the discovery. Nitric oxide keeps the highways clean & running efficiently. L-Arginine is the amino acid that creates nitric oxide.

ProArgi9 Plus is a proprietary blend of L-Arginine, L-Citruline, and all natural ingredients that support optimal blood circulation by reducing oxidative stress in the blood, detoxifying the blood and improving overall blood flow and reducing oxidative stress.

The choice is yours. Choose wisely!

Although not originally declared as part of the High Desert Study parameters, wound healing was greatly enhanced for the participants. Following is more information on the ability of nitric oxide in HEALING:

http://www.futurescience.com/arginine.html

Arginine is also a powerful immune stimulant and wound-healing agent. At one time, this was thought to be exclusively due to its growth hormone releasing properties; but arginine is a powerful immune stimulant and wound healing agent even in the absence of significant growth hormone release. It is now known that arginine has other important benefits as a precursor of nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide is usually thought of as a toxic component of smog, but recent scientific discoveries have shown it to be a biological compound of immense importance. Nitric oxide is the epithelial-derived relaxing factor, the chemical secreted by the lining of human blood vessels that causes the blood vessels to dilate, and thus determines what parts of the body receive extra blood flow, and what parts will receive less in response to other biological signals. Adequate nitric oxide also helps to insure that this allocation of blood flow is accomplished without undue increases in blood pressure. Scientists have searched for years for the chemical that causes this blood vessel dilation. They were not expecting that the chemical would be a gas, although nitric oxide dissolves easily in water. The search for this chemical was made even more difficult by the fact that the nitric oxide is destroyed by hemoglobin within about three seconds of the time it is released in the blood vessel lining.

Nitric oxide now also appears to be the neurotransmitter responsible for converting short-term memories to long-term memories in the brain. This is another ability that often declines with aging.

The body also concentrates high levels of nitric oxide in the fluid around a wound. The exact function of nitric oxide in wound healing is unclear at this time.

In some hospitals, small amounts of nitric oxide are being mixed with the oxygen received by patients with certain lung disorders. The results of this new treatment appear very promising.

Overall, the role of nitric oxide in the human body is a major area of current medical research. Important new discoveries about the role of nitric oxide are being made every month. The human body manufactures nitric oxide from only one nutrient: arginine.

The remarkable wound healing enhancement of arginine appears to be due to its growth hormone releasing properties as well as its role as the body’s sole source of nitric oxide. There are a number of reports in the scientific literature about the wound healing properties of arginine and the usefulness of arginine before and after surgery. Arginine can greatly accelerate the healing of broken bones and other accidental wounds.

I am sure by now you have heard of the Acai Berry and its amazing benefits. The Acai Berry has been talked about on Oprah, Dr. Oz, Dr. Perricone and many other TV news programs. The Acai Berry has been named a super food or one of the five good foods for you. But with these great benefits comes many scams, so beware of what you are purchasing. Acai Berry comes in many forms such as juice, powder, pill or natural. So how do you know which product has real benefits or is it a scam. Well let’s first look at what the Acai Berry is and what benefits it can bring.

What is the Acai Berry?

The Acai Berry is grown in the Amazon Rain Forest of Brazil on top of the Amazon Palm trees. Acai is pronounced ‘ah-sigh-ee’ and is dark purple in color, very similar to the blueberry. It is a relative of the blueberry, cranberry, and other dark purple fruits. The Acai is rated in the top of the ORAC scale, which is a measurement, pound per pound, of the amount of antioxidants. But that is not all that is in the Acai Berry, it is also rich in Omega oils (Omega 3, 6, and 9), and it is fiber rich, containing 45 grams of fiber per 100 grams of berries. It also contains 19 different amino acids and proteins that promote the growth and health of body tissues. It contains three various plant sterols that promote heart health and aids digestion, and it has amounts of vitamins B1, B2, B3, C and E. If that’s not enough, Acai also contains the essential minerals potassium, calcium, copper, magnesium and zinc. Wow it is really a super food.

What are the Benefits of the Acai Berry?

Research on the Acai Berry has focused on its possible antioxidant activity and this activity may help prevent diseases caused by oxidative stress such as heart disease and cancer. Acai contains several substances called anthocyanins and flavonoids. Anthocyanins and flavonoids are powerful antioxidants that help defend the body against life’s stressors. They also play a role in the body’s cell protection system. Free radicals are harmful byproducts produced by the body. Eating a diet rich in antioxidants may interfere with aging and the disease process by neutralizing free radicals and help reduce the risk of some diseases, such as heart disease and cancer.

Although acai is touted in some weight loss products, few studies have tested the benefit of the Acai Berry in promoting weight loss but people have testified of their ability to lose weight when using Acai Berry. For now, plenty of research supports eating a diet rich in antioxidants. There’s no doubt that berries and other fruits are a key part of any healthy diet promoting weight loss.

So what is the best Acai Berry Product? Naturally, Synergy Mistica.

Everyone will tell you that their Acai Berry product is the best. The best source of any fruit or vegetable is raw in its natural form. But that may only be possible for the people that live in the Amazon Rain Forest. So what is the next best? Well there are a lot of great Acai Berry products on the market so it may be hard to narrow it down to one. The juice form is always a better option than the pill form because of its ability to absorb into the body. So now we have narrowed it to a lot of Acai Berry juices. Many of these are sold through Network Marketing. Many have blended other products into the juice that just enhances the product even more. So this gives you a good start on which product to choose.

The choice is yours, choose wisely.

Doctors and nutritionists alike unanimously proclaim the importance of large amounts of fruits and vegetables in a healthy diet. But finding the time to eat the recommended five to nine servings a day can be a daunting task. Synergy’s Core Greens and its enhanced Green Fusion Technology help you bridge the gap and provide the protection your body needs for optimal health and continual vigor.

Do you get your 5 to 9 servings of vegetables each day? Difficult isn’t it?

Vegetables are the building blocks of a healthy body and many today just don’t get enough vegetables in their daily diet. So just why are the leafy greens so important for us to maintain proper health?

Core Greens was developed to help provide a daily dose of the needed greens. Mix up a scoop of Core Greens and the task is complete.

Here are a few of the key points that Core Greens has to offer.

* Phytonutrients will provide powerful health-protective benefits

Phytonutrients (pronounced “fight-o-nutrients”), are natural bioactive compounds found infruits and vegetables that works together with vitamins, minerals, and fiber to promote good health. The National Cancer Institute recommends eating at least 5 – 9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day. In addition to helping you feel better eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can also help reduce your risk of many chronic diseases including cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, stroke and other diseases. But it is difficult to eat enough fruits and vegetables to get the recommended dosage of vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to stay healthy, unless we are taking some form of vitamin supplement. However, traditional vitamin supplements do not provide us with phytonutrients. But Core Greens will provide you with the proper dose.

* Antioxidants combat free radicals and help counter cell damage

Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in our foods which can prevent or slow the oxidative damage to our body. When our body cells use oxygen, they naturally produce free radicals (by-products) which can cause damage. Antioxidants act as “free radical scavengers” and hence prevent and repair damage done by these free radicals. But are we really getting enough antioxidants in our daily meals?

* Chlorophyll enhances immunity and protects cells

Science has known for years the benefits of chlorophyll; without chlorophyll, the ‘green blood’ of plant / photosynthesis, life as we know it could not exist. Until recently, most research involving plants has been geared towards ‘better plants’ for ‘better meat’”. For years it was thought that the protein we needed could only come from meat.

Chlorophyll provides an all natural detoxification. As more and more research is done, scientists are learning that chlorophyll is not only a cleansing and blood builder food, but that it can be used to counter radiation and may prevent certain cancers from forming. In addition, another little known benefit of chlorophyll is its ability to kill some germs, promote intestinal health and its use as a topical skin healer.

* Green Fusion Technology harnesses the power of the sun

An advanced process that concentrates chlorophyll and other photosynthetic elements from grasses and other vegetables into a convenient, easily digestible form to help protect healthy cells, support the immune system, and act as a natural detoxifier. In fact, a good Green Fusion product will provide all the necessary ingredients to meet the five keys to optimal health and nutrition.

* Alkalizing formula hydrates and detoxifies the body

The foods you eat have a major impact on your body’s acid-alkaline balance. Digestion of processed foods, for example, will create acidic byproducts that flow into the bloodstream. The more processed foods (sugars, refined carbohydrates, etc.) you eat, the more acid-byproducts will be created and the more acidic your bloodstream will become. Core Greens puts the alkali back in your body.

* Greens enhance energy and provide nutrition

These green ingredients help provide phytonutrients, chlorophyll and antioxidants. Combined with the Green Fusion Technology we can get the most from these ingredients.

Wheat Grass, Oat Sprout Powder, Barley Grass, Lemon Grass, Avocado Fruit Powder, Cucumber Powder, Okra Powder, Celery Seed Powder, Parsley Leaves, Spinach Powder, Kale Powder, Broccoli Powder, Cabbage Powder, Tomato Fruit Powder, Watercress Leaves, Wintergreen Leaves Powder, Peppermint Leaves, Rosemary Leaves, Sage Leaves, Spearmint Leaves & Flowers, Thyme Leaves.

Now just how many of these ingredients would you normally eat in a day?

Core Greens is one of the three products that make up Synergy Worldwide’s V3 Nutritional System.

The choice is yours, choose wisely.

It’s amazing but 1 out of 3 people will end up with some form of heart disease. 2 out of 3 people with diabetes will die from heart disease or stroke. Folks with diabetes have twice the chance of getting heart disease, so what is the correlation between heart disease and diabetes? Folks with diabetes have a higher rate of high blood pressure, a higher rate of cholesterol and a much higher rate of hardening of the arteries. Studies suggest that the added stress to the heart from the ups and downs of blood sugar levels may contribute to these higher rates of problems. With this additional stress to the circulatory system the veins and arteries contract and can not relax. These constant contractions leads to the hardening of the arteries, restricted blood flow and higher blood pressure.

There have been a proliferation of studies in the medical world on Nitric Oxide. The studies have concluded that people with diabetes have lower levels of nitric oxide in their blood stream. Science doesn’t quite know why yet but suggestions are that the diabetic stress or contracted arteries may be part of this lower level.

So,what is nitric oxide and what does it do? Nitric oxide is produced when we take in an amino acid called l-arginine. L-arginine comes from red meat, some nuts,as well as a variety of other sources, but most people as they age need more l-arginine and usually eat less of the foods that provide it. Nitric Oxide stimulates the endothelia and causes the arteries to relax. This is the only purpose of Nitric Oxide, but is so vital to a healthy circulatory system. Relaxed arteries and veins reduce plaque build up, reduce high blood pressure and reduce hardening of the arteries. So Nitric Oxide in the body is crucial and is many times absent, leading to heart disease.

It’s important to note that however that just taking a l-arginine supplement may not always help. There’s another amino acid needed to assist l-arginine, l-Citruline. L-Citruline helps the Nitric Oxide last longer in the blood stream. Without l-Citruline the Nitric Oxide is very short lived, often ranging from just minutes to perhaps a couple of hours, and thus not reaching all parts of the circulatory system. with the addition of L-Citruline, Nitric Oxide can often last from 24-48 hours. So what are the steps needed to reduce the most evident chance a diabetic will get heart disease? The American Diabetes Association suggests following you ABCs of diabetes. A is for keeping your A1c in check or below 7 B is for keeping your blood pressure in line C is for keeping your cholesterol levels down They also suggest losing weight, stop smoking, physical exercise and staying on your medication. But let’s take this a step further. The ADA never once mentioned taking a supplement of l-Arginine, increasing omega fatty acids or using any natural products to help with a healthier body. If you look hard on the ADA or the AHA site you will find that the main sponsors of these sites are the major pharmaceutical companies. Coincidence? They want to keep you on the medications and not completely stop the use of their products. That’s why an addition to the ADA recommendations is warranted.

If one studies l-Arginine and the effects that Nitric Oxide has on the circulatory system, you find it does many great things for our bodies. Many of the complications of diabetes are related to poor circulation. So if one can increase blood circulation, relax the vessels and lower blood pressure many of these complications would be drastically reduced. One example is the loss of limbs, which is one of the more common complications. This is because the feet and legs are the farthest from the heart and without proper blood flow to them; they begin to die, resulting in amputation. A strong l-Arginine, l-Citruline complex may be just the product to help diabetics with better overall circulation.

Allow me to introduce you to an endocrinologist that has spent his life researching and studying what l-Arginine can do for diabetics. Dr. Joe Prendergast has an operating endocrinologist practice in California. Dr. Prendergast has been treating patients for years with a product called Proagri 9 Plus. Prior to using this l-Arginine supplement,Dr. Prendergast regularly referred patients onto several different heart specialists. Now he very seldom refers patients to any heart specialist. Dr. Prendergast has taken heart disease out of his diabetic patients, the ones willing to take the product anyway. A great reference to the benefits of l-Arginine is a book called No More Heart Disease by Dr. Louis Ignarro. Dr. Ignarro along with two other doctors won the Nobel Prize with their discovery of what Nitric Oxide does to the circulatory system.

So you might ask why we do not hear more about this. Well, the pharmaceutical industry makes billions a year on heart and diabetes medications. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in men and women; diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death. The pharmaceutical industry continue to keep adding products to reduce this rate but still has not done so, but they sure keep increasing their sales. So,in short, do your research and decide if Proargi 9 Plus may benefit you or someone you may know. The evidence is out there and is evident in Dr. Prendergast’s practice.

The choice is yours, choose wisely.
